Molecular hydrogen is hydrogen at the moment of its birth. It is a pure hydrogen molecule that has just formed in a given place and time and, as such, has the ability to bond immediately with other substances. In the case of the human body, with substances that could potentially harm it. This creates a fluid that our body
removes from the organism through the excretory organs. The uniqueness of hydrogen molecules lies in the fact that, due to their size, they are able to penetrate without any barriers into individual parts of the organism, where they can perform their function.

Thanks to its free electron, molecular hydrogen is able to bond in the human body with harmful substances, which it then helps the body to eliminate naturally. The uniqueness of molecular hydrogen lies in the size of its molecules — they are so small that they penetrate without any barriers into individual parts of the organism, all the way to the cell nuclei or mitochondria. Once hydrogen reaches these places, it acts there with its antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, protective and regenerative effects.

Potential mechanisms of action of H2:

Selective antioxidant:

It has extremely small molecules, smaller than other antioxidants. It thus penetrates deep into the cell, eliminates free radicals right where they arise and stops their harmful action much sooner. It targets only harmful free radicals. Most antioxidants do not distinguish between a good and a bad free radical, which can disrupt the balance inside cells. Molecular hydrogen targets only harmful free radicals.

Anti-inflammatory effects:

A number of studies using various injury models have confirmed that H2 exhibits anti-inflammatory activity. H2 prevents inflammatory tissue damage caused by oxidative stress through the regulation of pro-inflammatory and inflammatory cytokines.

Anti-apoptotic effects:

H2 exhibits anti-apoptotic effects through the up- or down-regulation of apoptosis-related factors. H2 further inhibits apoptosis by regulating signal transduction within and between specific signalling pathways.

H2 as a signalling modulator:

Oxidative stress affects multiple signalling pathways. Together with the selective scavenging of ·OH, H2 can mitigate damage caused by oxidative stress by targeting these pathways.

According to studies to date, H2 demonstrates preventive and therapeutic effects in a whole range of diseases:

Titration is a common analytical technique used to determine the concentration of a substance in a solution. In acid-base (neutralisation) titration an acid and a base react, and it determines the concentration of hydrogen cations (H+) in water. Hydrogen cations arise from the dissociation of the acid. However, let's not confuse hydrogen cations with molecular hydrogen.

Example: a solution with citric acid. After dissolving in water, citric acid dissociates according to the equation C6H8O7 → 3 H+ + C6H5O73-. If you add a solution of a base to a solution prepared in this way, for example sodium hydroxide NaOH, it will react according to the equation H+ + NaOH → Na+ +
H2O. If you add an indicator to the added solution that responds to a change in pH with a change of colour, then once all the hydrogen cations (formed from the acid) have reacted the colour will change. If you use
thymolphthalein as the indicator, the colour will change from blue to colourless. Thymolphthalein is blue at a pH higher than about 9.5. The result of a titration performed in this way is the determination of the concentration of citric
acid in the solution.

For clarity — hydrogen cations H+ do not exist as such in solution; they bond to further water molecules, forming hydronium cations H3O+, H5O2+, H7O3+, etc.

Summary: hydrogen cations do not represent molecular hydrogen, and acid-base titration cannot determine the concentration of molecular hydrogen (H2) in a solution. It only determines the amount of acids, in this case
citric acid. That is why H2 Europe does not use titration and other methods close to it in its
measurements and relies entirely on laboratory tests.

Ppm – parts per million is a unit of concentration; it is identical to mg/kg — one kilogram has a million milligrams, and so 1 ppm = 1 mg/kg, 1 ppm = 1 mg/litre.

From this definition it follows that stating a hydrogen value in ppm on a product without giving the volume of the substance in which the measurement took place is misleading, and it is also the reason why we state the hydrogen result in ml, backed by a test from an accredited laboratory.

Example: suppose we measure ppm in three cities: Prague, Brno, Bratislava. Even assuming the same volume of water (1 litre) in all cases, the measured values will be
completely different. The reason is the different quality of water in the chosen areas. The resulting measurement is then completely irrelevant.

ORP – oxidation-reduction potential, redox potential. Definition taken from the standard: The oxidation-reduction potential is an electrode potential that is a measure of the ability of the oxidised forms of substances present in water to accept an electron and the ability of the reduced forms of substances present in water to release an electron.

High ORP values can be achieved in various ways, for example by a high concentration of vitamin C, or also in the way shown in the example below, and this without any hydrogen being present in the measured sample.
Stating the ORP value in relation to hydrogen measurement is therefore highly questionable.

Example: ordinary chlorinated drinking water has an ORP value in the range of 100 to 500 mV; water from underground boreholes without access to oxygen has an ORP of -500 to 250 mV. Interpreting ORP measurement results is quite difficult, and no clear conclusions can be drawn from them, such as that water with an ORP of 100 mV is better (healthier) than water with an ORP of 350 mV.

As a general rule, take CellaWell on an empty stomach, but if you feel that it suits you to take CellaWell together with food, that is also an option. For further inspiration, the application times are listed below. Note: this is based on the organ clock of Chinese medicine, whereby greater efficacy on individual organs can be achieved. Here too the rule is to observe and listen to your body.

Take CellaWell together with food between 8 and 10 a.m. and then take another capsule between 4 and 6 p.m. This way we optimise the effect of CellaWell on the stomach and digestive system. Use it this way for one month. Then follows a 14-day break.

Then repeat the whole month-long course, this time with different organ-clock times:
Take CellaWell together with food between 10 a.m. and 12 noon and take another capsule between 8 and 10 p.m. This way we strengthen the cardiovascular system.

We recommend using this two-month cycle twice a year.

The option of one month taking CellaWell on an empty stomach and the second month together with food is also suitable, because some of us have a faster metabolism and others a slower one.
